1962 Elizabeth II Half Crown

1962 Elizabeth II Half Crown

India Rupee

Baroda (state in western India).

Independent state until 1947. In 1947 Baroda passed under the Indian control.

One Rupee, silver, weight - from 10,7 to 11,6 g. Khande Rao Gaekwad (his initial "Kha" is visible on obverse, next to state symbol "Katar"). The date on this coin looks like AH1282 which is roughly AD1865.

Victorian Gaming Token

This High Grade Victorian Gaming Token is of quite a rare variety. No date and also has plenty of lustre.

“’Keep Your Temper’ is a reminder to the players – especially to the men – to keep their emotions in check and to abide by the rules of the game”.

Probably made by Thomas Kettle (1830's) as his were the first to portray a woman playing.
